The Science Museum recently exhibited the 500 year old history of the evolution of Robots. The advancements in technology have caused a drastic transformation in robots. Robots are no longer just human operated machines, they are now AI automated and can replicate human behaviour and expressions to a certain extend. The future of robotics will heavily influence retail, medicine and transportation in the future. It is said that a lot of manual and routine tasks will be performed by robots which can cause unemployment. But, can robots ever completely replace human beings? I think that is possible only if scientists manage to use biotechnology to develop emotionally intelligent robots in the future, but humans will always be in control of these machines.
